As of January 1, 2015 the state of Mass. Is requiring all dental assistants be licensed. If you have taken our Dental Assisting course, you must register on the Mass. Public Health website by Dec 28, 2014. If you have been working in a dental office, you can apply as an intern, with your doctor’s authorization. After 6 months of employment, you need to send documentation of CPR training, infection control CEU’s (3-4 hrs) and documentation of clinical hours to receive a full Dental Assisting license.
